Gavin Rubinstein, the founder of TRG, has reached Elite status within the Ray White network for the 2026/27 recognition year. This accomplishment occurred just six weeks into the current financial year, marking the fastest qualification of any agent across the group’s 13,000-strong workforce in Australia and New Zealand.

Maintaining a record pace

The achievement places Rubinstein on a trajectory to secure his 13th consecutive Chairman’s Elite award. This specific honor is the highest tier of recognition offered by the organization. Only six individuals across the entire group have maintained this streak since the category was originally introduced.

Recent performance data illustrates the scale of these transactions. In the three months leading up to May, the agency processed nearly $200 million in settled property sales. This volume is more than twice that of the next-highest performer within the broader network.

The speed of this year’s qualification is notable, as he reached the same milestone in August, whereas he did not qualify until September during the previous period. These figures suggest that while high-end property markets often face volatility, certain established operators may see their relative market share grow as competition thins out or becomes less specialized. Should this trajectory continue, the firm will likely face internal pressure to scale its support staff to match the accelerated pace of transaction volume without sacrificing the service standards expected in the luxury sector.

Growth and operational focus

TRG began as a boutique agency in 2019. It has since expanded to include offices in Rose Bay, Woollahra, Hunters Hill, and Dubai, UAE. Rubinstein attributes this expansion to a focus on precision and a vendor-first philosophy.

Reflecting on the milestone, Rubinstein noted that the metric serves as a correlation of the value provided to the market. He stated that the results are only possible because of his clients who have given him the opportunity to represent them in a changing climate. He also mentioned that his team strives for excellence daily, and when they miss, they attempt to learn and evolve their practice to ensure they continue to deliver outcomes.

The agency’s leadership team intends to prioritize service levels for both sellers and buyers as they move through the current market cycle. Rubinstein expressed that he looks forward to driving his staff to achieve results while maintaining an active interest in the broader industry. This work happens as he continues to balance his role as a principal with the daily demands of high-value real estate representation.
