Hall of Fame Baseball Broadcaster Jon Miller Sells Coastal NorCal Home for $5.3M

Adios, pelota! Adios, casa? Jon Millera man whose voice is synonymous with San Francisco Giants baseball, has simplified his commute to Oracle Park.

The Hall of Fame broadcaster’s four-bedroom, 3.5-bath property in the coastal community of Moss Beach, CA, was sold earlier this year for $5,300,000. The home originally landed on the market last summer for $7.5 million, as Miller moved into an apartment closer to the ballpark.

The tiny town of Moss Beach hugs the ocean and sits right off Highway 1, midway between the somewhat larger towns of Pacifica and Half Moon Bay.

Just south of San Francisco, but seemingly worlds away, this stretch of quiet coastline along the Pacific Ocean is appealing to anyone needing a hideaway from the big city. And this 3,900-square-foot home, on a parcel that’s just under a half-acre, was an ideal retreat for the legendary baseball voice.

Bright light streams through huge windows, flooding the home with warmth and sunshine. Water views from the main rooms, decks, and outdoor areas are simply astonishing. blonde-wood floors; built-ins; and the subtle, white color scheme makes the home feel cozy and clean.

An open kitchen connects to the living areas, and smart-looking banquettes lining the windows are topped with cushions for extra seating. The kitchen features nifty looks for plates on the island, plus three stools at the breakfast bar.

The wood finishes and textured tiles in the bathrooms create a California beach vibe. There’s also a home office, several large decks for sunbathing and entertaining, plus a hot tub. Nearly every room has outdoor deck access, and the property slopes down to a sandy beach.
